Made with cross-functional trainers, for cross-functional fitness. Reflex Nutrition’s X-Functional Training range is perfect to support your training.

Cross-functional training works your body is a number of different ways, all at once. It puts pressure on the cardiovascular and muscular system in terms of both power and endurance, whilst not forgetting the mental battle of perseverance! A number of activities that fall into this category include; HIIT training, circuit training, boxing, plyometrics and CrossFit. The idea is to train your body to be well-rounded in both high-intensity and endurance performance. Jack of all trades!

Reflex Nutrition have been producing high-quality sports nutrition supplements for over 20 years, and this experience has led them to launch their first X-Functional Training range. This range provides targeted nutrition for those who are training cross-functionally while maintaining the brand’s core principles:

• Never soya protein
• High-quality minerals
• Absolutely no aspartame
• Only whey from grass-fed cows
• UK manufactured at Reflex’s state of the art facility in Brighton

It is a refined range of six core products to provide something for before, during and after your workout, including rest day protein and daily supplements. Here they are:

 01 XFT Recover & Refuel

Multidisciplinary workouts like HIIT and CrossFit push the body to its limits in both strength and endurance. A post-workout recovery drink which provides a wholesome recovery is a must which is why this product has a 2:1 ratio of carbohydrate to protein. This combination ensures a speedy recovery, muscle repair and contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass.

XFT Recover & Refuel comes in two indulgent flavours of Chocolate and Salted Peanut Caramel.

02 XFT Rest & Maintain

Whether you’re trying to increase your protein intake on a rest day to maintain or build muscle or looking for a lower calorie post-exercise protein, Rest & Maintain is for you. Low in fat, sugar and containing 20g of fast-releasing grass-fed protein this product will provide your body with protein, fast, and when you need it.

XFT Rest & Maintain also contains digestive enzymes and friendly bacteria and comes in a delicious Chocolate and Chai Latte flavour (our fave!).

03 XFT Energise & Hydrate

When heading into an intense workout, you want to feel both physically and mentally prepared. This pre- and intra-workout combined is the perfect training partner as it will provide you energy through fast-release carbohydrates and also hydrate you during your workout through key electrolyte replenishment.

With the added benefits of 180mg of caffeine and BCAAs, Energise & Hydrate is designed to help you go into your WOTD prepared to take on the challenge. This product comes in the tropical flavours of Mango & Raspberry, and Watermelon.

04 XFT Creatine

Creatine is a straight forward product and has benefits in increasing performance during high-intensity training. This is a must-have supplement for cross-functional training as it will top up the body’s natural stores, therefore enhancing the impact. This XFT Creatine is flavourless and easy to add to both the Recover & Refuel and Rest & Maintain shakes.

05 XFT Omega 3+

The richest source of the essential fatty acids EPA and DHA come from fish oils. Your body can’t naturally manufacture these fatty acids but they are essential in high doses in contributing to the normal functioning of the heart. This is something those training cross functionally should consider as optimising the cardiovascular system for intense and endurance performance is important.

In addition to these fatty acids, XFT Omega 3+ contains added fat-soluble vitamins (A, E, D & K); adding these to Omega 3+ helps their uptake in the body. They contribute to the maintenance of normal bones and muscle function, as well as the normal functioning of the immune system, all which are important when training to high intensity.

06 XFT Zinc and Magnesium

Cross-functional training puts a lot of stress and pressure on the body that other activities may not do to the same extent, so supplementing with vitamins and minerals is a great way to offset the effects of training and maximise your recovery.

Zinc and Magnesium are two popular supplements, especially amongst CrossFitters due to their roles in contributing to the normal functioning of the muscles and protein synthesis. Key to recover from any session! With added vitamin B6 our combined product can also help reduce tiredness and fatigue from training.

These XFT Zinc & Magnesium capsules are also suitable for vegans.
